This searing double bill pairs 13-time GRAMMY-winning resonator guitarist Jerry Douglas and his band with three of the finest contemporary American string players: Darol Anger, Bruce Molsky and Rushad Eggleston. Mr. Douglas is best known today as a key member of Alison Krauss + Union Station and his work with Elvis Costello’s Sugarcanes. This concert marks his third appearance at the festival after leading his group at SMF 2007 and playing in our “World of Slide Guitar” concert in SMF 2008. You will not want to miss hearing his current band, including Luke Bulla on violin, Viktor Krauss on bass and Josh Hunt on drums, in the intimate confines of the Charles H. Morris Center.
