Paul Lewis’ cycles of piano works by Beethoven and Schubert have received unanimous critical and public acclaim across the globe, solidifying his reputation as one of the world’s foremost interpreters of European classical repertoire. His numerous awards have included the Royal Philharmonic Society’s Instrumentalist of the Year, two Edison awards, three Gramophone awards, the Premio Internazionale Accademia Musicale Chigiana, and others. Lewis performs regularly as soloist with the world’s greatest orchestras, and as a recitalist in the major halls of Vienna, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Zurich, Barcelona and Sydney. He is also a frequent guest at festivals including Lucerne, Mostly Mozart, Tanglewood, Salzburg, Edinburgh, La Roque d’Antheron and The BBC Proms.
