The Balkan Quartet is a dynamic and inspiring string group with Serbian violinists Sinisa Ciric, Mirna Dinovic, violist Danijela Zezelj-Gualdi and Bulgarian cellist Martin Gueorguiev. Their mission is to revive the powerful and the unique Balkan sound, and inspire composers to create new music that uses an indigenous Balkan language and its rich ethno/folk heritage.
