The Metal Building at the Kehoe Iron works
660 E Broughton St, Savannah, GA 31401
Keitaro Harada, conductor

You’re bound to fall in love with dreamy string sounds as the Savannah Philharmonic serenades you with beautiful and inspiring music. Music and Artistic Director Keitaro Harada conducts this concert with two popular Serenades for Strings — one from British composer Edward Elgar and one by Czech composer Antonin Dvořák. Elgar takes us on a peaceful, country stroll, and Dvořák’s masterful melodies shine in his Serenade. Between these masterworks, SavPhil performs George Walker’s Lyric for Strings, which he wrote in memory of his grandmother. Don’t miss this incredible concert that is sure to tug at your heartstrings. Come early or stay late to enjoy a cocktail at the bar for this one-hour, no intermission concert. Tickets $50.
