A forward-thinking musician with a passion for the jazz tradition, guitarist Randy Napoleon leads his own groups in addition to touring and recording with Freddy Cole. He teaches jazz guitar at Michigan State University, and is a composer and arranger for singers, big bands and small combos. Prior to joining Freddy Cole, Napoleon toured with the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra, and also toured extensively with Benny Green and crooner Michael Bublé. In this opening concert, Randy Napoleon is joined by bassist Elias Bailey and drummer Quentin E. Baxter.
