Georgia Grown Gospel And Bluegrass: Sweet Singing Harmony Harmoneers/IIIrd Tyme Out

Georgia Grown Gospel And Bluegrass: Sweet Singing Harmony Harmoneers/IIIrd Tyme Out
Led by the incomparable bluegrass tenor Russell Moore, winner of the IBMA’s (International Bluegrass Music Association) Male Vocalist of the Year award for the last two years, North Georgia’s IIrd Tyme Out is among the
world’s top traditional bluegrass groups. The ensemble’s seven consecutive IBMA awards for Vocal Group of the Year are a fitting tribute to the fact that their vocals define them. Their a cappella renditions of bluegrass standards and gospel tunes are unmatched. After six years with Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Moore started IIrd Tyme Out in 1991, which also includes the acclaimed mandolinist Wayne Benson, banjoist Steve Dilling, Justen Hayes on fiddle, and Edgar Loudermilk on bass.
“...undeniably smooth, especially for the charged version of the high, lonesome sound that they provide.” -All Music Guide
