FOX presents romantic comedy television series created by Mindy Kaling (the series’ star). Kaling plays a young OB/GYN doctor who laughingly struggles to balance her personal and professional life surrounded by quirky co-workers in a small office. The character was inspired by Kaling's own mother, an OB/GYN.
